47.94% students clear Assam board Class 10 exams, highest pass percentage in Nalbari

This year 47.94 percent students have passed in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).
49.41 percent boys passed the examination while 46.51 percent girls cleared the exam, SEBA said.
In 2016, 62.79 percent students had passed the exam.
Out of 3,72,640 students appeared in the exam, 1,78,656 have passed, SEBA said.
54,955 students secured first division, 80,179 students secured second division and 43,522 students secured third division.
Nalbari district has the highest pass percentage i.e. 65.86 percent.
